Guan Liang is one of the most innovative and innovative ink and wash figure painters in the 20 th century.He has created a unique artistic language in ink and wash opera figure painting and made great contributions to the inheritance and expansion of Chinese painting.His works absorb the traditional Chinese painting expression techniques,but also draw lessons from folk art and western expressionism art forms,and finally form his own childlike and childish painting style.Art language is very important to a painter,it constitutes the external form and structure of the work,painting lines,modeling,ink,tone,composition and so on belong to the artistic language of the work,painters only established belong to the art language own artistic language,it is easier to reveal the inner things and express their mental state.This article is divided into five chapters,the first chapter introduces the life and background of Guanliang;the second chapter introduces the reasons for the formation of Guanliang ink opera figure painting art language,the formation of Guanliang art language,mainly influenced by the traditional culture of the country,modern western art and its own character characteristics;the third chapter introduces the stages of Guanliang ink opera figure painting art language.The fourth chapter introduces the characteristics of Guanliang ink opera figure painting art language,in which,respectively,Guanliang’s modeling,pen and ink,composition and other artistic language detailed analysis,summed up the source of Guanliang’s concise and childish artistic characteristics,to deepen the reader’s understanding of Guanliang ink opera figure painting art language;the fifth chapter introduces the Guanliang ink opera figure painting art language for later generations,and strive to play a reference role in the development and innovation of contemporary ink opera figure painting.Chapter two and chapter four are the key chapters of this paper,and the author discusses them in detail.
