| Since 2001,the Ministry of Education has vigorously promoted the construction of boarding schools.This is a strategic move to optimize the allocation of rural educational resources and promote the balanced development of urban and rural education.However,as educators,in the final analysis,our aim is to ensure that primary school students can be physically and mentally healthy in school Happy Growth.We can't ignore the negative influence brought by the great change of the educational system reform to the boarding primary school students.In this study,a total of 600 students from the fourth,fifth and sixth grades of two non-boarding schools and two boarding schools in Qianxi County,Tangshan City,Hebei Province were studied.The children's loneliness scale(UCLA),self-esteem scale(SES)and children's subjective quality of life questionnaire(ISLQ)were used as research tools.Data consolidation and statistical analysis led to the following conclusions:1.There was no significant difference in loneliness between the students of different sex and different grades,but there was significant difference in loneliness between boarding and non-boarding primary school students.2.The difference of self-esteem between boarding and non-boarding primary school students is significant,and the self-esteem level of non-boarding students is relatively high.3.There was no significant difference between boarding and non-boarding primary school students in family life and body emotion,but there were differences in other dimensions.4.There are significant correlations between loneliness,self-esteem and life satisfaction.5.Loneliness is negatively related to self-esteem and life satisfaction.The higher the loneliness,the lower the self-esteem and life satisfaction.6.Self-esteem plays a part of mediating role between loneliness and life satisfaction,that is,the role of loneliness in life satisfaction is partly realized by self-esteem. |
