The Compatibility Of The Proverbs Of The Classical Dance And The Taoist Aesthetics | | Posted on:2021-03-22 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:S Zhang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2415330620961098 | Subject:Music and dance/dance performances and education | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The Proverbs of the Chinese Classical Dance are systematically summarized and organized by senior dancers to create a set of standard languages suitable for Chinese classical dance teaching.The proverbs of the Chinese classical dance contain profound Chinese traditional cultural thoughts.After philosophical thoughts in traditional cultures are processed,they are repeatedly transformed into the language of Chinese classical dance teaching.Proverbs teach the essentials of sports tricks and aesthetic connotations in the Chinese classical dance through verbal formulas.It sorts out the “hand,eye,body,method,step,virtue,and technique” in the Chinese classical dance.Because “proverbs” are short and refined,they are more eloquent and can be remembered much easier.In practical teaching,proverbs makes teaching more accessible and understandable and they improves teaching efficiency.Teachers can clearly describe the essentials and know-how of dance movements through “proverbs” during oral presentations and they can also enable students to understand the movement patterns and principles of the Chinese classical dance and the cultural connotations of the Chinese classical dance more accurately.In the quotations of Laozi’s classic works,the book Tao Te Ching,the philosophical thoughts on “beauty” and the analysis of “beauty” are bred.The development of art requires excellent traditional culture as the foundation,and through the expression of art,it reflects the national culture and thematic spirit.The philosophical thoughts in the quotations of Tao Te Ching were skillfully incorporated into the vocabularies of the Chinese classical dance,and the process of blending was to “regenerate without changing bones”.It was refined in inheritance and reference,then was converted into its own dance vocabularies and then was expressed through dance body to highlight a deeper aesthetic cultural connotation.This thesis takes the title of the Compatibility of the Proverbs of the Chinese Classical Dance and the Taoist Aesthetics.Taking the thoughts in the quotations of Tao Te Ching as an example,they are analyzed and studied from four aspects :“shape,expression,strength,and meter”.The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is an in-depth understanding of the philosophical in the Taoist aesthetics of Tao Te Ching.It explains the origin,provenance and evolution of the proverbs of the Chinese classical dance,and its function in the teaching of Chinese classical dance.The second chapter analyzes the similarity between t the Proverbs of the Chinese classical dance and it also analyzes the enlightenment of the Tao Te Ching aesthetic thoughts on the “shape,expression,strength,and rhythm” of the Chinese classical dance in detail.The enlightenment,however,makes the Chinese classical dance have its own unique style and vocabularies.The third chapter analyzes the infiltration of the aesthetic thoughts of “Tao Te Ching” and the proverbs of the Chinese classical dance into the teaching of Chinese classical dance,which was applied to the classical Chinese dance movement model and also expressed the consciousness of “beauty” in traditional Chinese philosophical thoughts through the expression of body movements.The fourth chapter summarizes the significance of the study of the Taoist aesthetics to Chinese classical dance,which reflects the movement patterns and principles of the Chinese classical dance;digs out the multiple creative ways of Chinese classical and enriches the cultural connotations of the Chinese classical dance. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Chinese Classical Dance, Proverb, The Book of Morality, "Shape,Expression,Strength,Meter" | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
