| The original name of “Datang Kaiyuan Li” was “Kaiyuan Li”.Kaiyuan Li consisted of 150 volumes,226 items and contained 152 etiquettes.Basically, the rites in the Tang dynasty were written as one for each ritual activity, and also according to the length of the ritual activity,it was written as one or a volume,or,several chapters only for a volume,a volume divided into several chapters. As the etiquette work of the Tang dynasty,it guided the etiquette activities of the Tang dynasty, and laid the basic pattern of the rites of the later dynasties. The whole rites were divided in an orderly way,and the records were written according to the specific implementation. There was a simple catalog before each volume, explaining the specific implementation procedures and specifications of the ritual system described in this volume.Among them, the records of ritual music infiltrated into 152 etiquettes, including Ji Li,Bin Li,Jun Li,Jia Li and Xiong Li etiquettes.Xiong Li rarely used music,so the record was not much. There were many views on the nature of the book in the academic circle, some of which regarded it as the position of the ritual class of the book, others regarded it as the record, the official and the political book. However,it is not difficult to see that Zhou Li,Li Ji,Zhenguan,Xianqing and Kaiyuan Li have an inseparable relationship with rites and etiquette. The five rites described in this book can be summarized into the category of rites. The chapters of this book were well organized. In view of this, this paper analyzed Datang Kaiyuan Li,aiming to highlight its important significance to the study of music in Tang dynasty. The number of musical instruments, the number of persons, and the location and effect of the musical instrument were described in detail. |
