ShenZhou was the first of the Wu School in the Ming Dynasty.His flower-and-bird paintings had a certain impact on the development of flower-and-bird paintings in the late Ming Dynasty.Ancient people were good at expressing feelings in scenery and things.Peony has always been one of the carriers of literati and ink writers.ShenZhou used to appreciate,paint and chant peony many times in his later years,expressing his feelings through the combination of poetry and painting.In this paper,the emergence of ShenZhou Peony Picture in the process of the evolution of Peony Picture,combined with ShenZhou’s peony-related friendship and ShenZhou’s peony poems as scholars ShenZhou’s thoughts and feelings on peony as a rich subject,and through the study of ShenZhou’s peony Picture to study the artistic characteristics of ShenZhou’s flower and bird paintings in his later years.
