Phonological processing deficits, rapid naming deficit, orthographic processing defects are thought to be caused by the main defects of dyslexia. This study was the first attempt to use cognates and masking translation paradigm as experimental materials for children with dyslexia, using naming task, the response time and the correct rate of response to cognates and non-cognates were measured with dyslexia.Investigation and analysis of L1 and L2 as the target word, the target word processing by different types of translation equivalence priming(cognates and non-cognates)and to explore the effects of two kinds of language and orthography without competition, phonetic and semantic sharing and semantic sharing only priming effect under the two conditions and discussion cognate subjects in the normal group and the three group of dyslexia subjects started the dominant effect,in order to explore the role of phonetic factors in Uygur dyslexia,Chinese dyslexic children and bilingual children with dyslexia. The study consists of two experiments.Experiment one explored a different language reading disorder types of subjects in the Uygur language to start(L1),the target language for Chinese(L2)priming effect of different types of vocabulary translation equivalents under the condition of homologous and cross language priming effect on speech processing with words, what kind of features of lexical representation is language reading the obstacle of children. The results showed that the experimental group and the control group showed negative masked translation priming effect, but the effect on the reaction time only reached the edge of a significant level, and the Chinese dyslexic children show the longest naming time of Chinese target words;only in the three experimental groups, negative priming was found on the correct rate, and none of the cognates had the priming advantage effect.Experiment two explored not language reading disorders subjects at the start of the Chinese language(L2),the target language for Uygur Language(L1)priming effect of different types of vocabulary translation equivalents under the condition of homologous and cross language priming effect on speech processing with words, what kind of features of lexical representation is language reading obstacle type of dyslexia. The results showed that the three level interaction between initiation type, vocabulary type and subjects type was significant, the group of Uygur dyslexic children showed the advantage effect of Chinese cognate words in the accuracy rate index. In the two experiments, the correct rate of Uygur-Chinese Bilingual dyslexia children was the lowest and the reaction is the slowest on L2-L1.Combining the results of two experiments, the following conclusions are drawn:1 This study validates the hypothesis of the modified hierarchical model.2 In the L2-L1 direction,Uygur dyslexic children have appeared the priming advantage effect of Chinese cognate words, indicating that phonetic defects are the main defects that lead to dyslexia in Uygur dyslexic children.3 Chinese dyslexic children did not have priming effect in L1-L2 and L2-L1 directions,it shows that the effect of phonetic factors is not significant for Chinese dyslexic children, when they are identifying Chinese words.4 This study verifies the limitation of inhibitory ability in children with dyslexia, namely Uygur dyslexic children,Chinese dyslexic children, and Uygur-Chinese Bilingual dyslexia children.
