| In this paper, students from six countries are used as research objects, including Japan,Thailand,Vietnam,Brazil,Bangladesh, and Morocco. The research method of experimental phonetics is used to investigate the tone pronunciation problem of Chinese second tone.A comparative analysis of the data shows that learners whose mother tongue is a tonal language have a better control of the pronunciation than learners whose mother tongue is a non-tonal language.Tone errors appeared in Thai and Vietnamese students who have the similarities and differences.Among learners whose mother tongue is non-tonal,the proportion of students who pronounce the second tone into a concave tone is low.Brazilian students and Japanese students whose native language system is totally different have the same errors in pronunciation of different combinations of the second tone.Aiming at the above problems, the corresponding teaching strategies are put forward from the perspective of common errors and individual errors of foreign students,so as to improve the accuracy of foreign students’ pronunciation of the tone.Chapter 1 is an introduction, which expounds the current research status of tonal research at home and abroad;Chapter 2 is a description of the experimental analysis, concerning the four aspects of the experimental object, the experimental word list, the experimental preparation, and data processing;Chapter 3 summarizes the pronouncing problems of the second tone in differnent countries based on the data analysis by country..Chapter 4 focuses on the problems analyzed in the previous chapter, and puts forward some feasible teaching suggestions and strategies for different situations,as for helping practical teaching.Chapter 5 concludes the problems of international students in terms of the second tone errors and puts forward on some deficiencies and areas for further study. |
