Population migration is a direct manifestation of social change. It plays a significant role in shaping the economy, politics, and culture of different regions. It is also one of the issues closely related to social and political stability.Central Asia,as the five republics of the former Soviet Union from the 1930 s to the 1960 s,experienced all-round changes from political formation to social structure. In terms of the relatively closed natural environment and ancient and relatively primitive social traditions of Central Asia The most direct factor that can contribute to this change is mass migration. From the compulsory migration of rich farmers to the migration of national defense industries, research institutes, colleges and universities and ethnic minorities to Central Asia during the Patriotic War,to the virgin land movement,a large number of laborers went to Central Asia for reclamation. The population migration has affected the population structure and social development of Central Asia to a certain extent. The study of population migration in Central Asia during this period will help to better understand the development model and historical characteristics of Central Asia.Based on the nature, pattern, and quantity of migration, this paper divides the population migration activities of Central Asia from the 1930 s to the 1960 s into three major periods: exiles, rich peasants, the Great Patriotic War,and the reclamation movement.Combined with certain statistics and data, more Clearly and three-dimensionally reflect the changes and impacts of population migration on Central Asia.
