Chinese piano adapted music is the most representative theme in the development history of Chinese piano music,and it is also an important part in the field of Chinese piano music creation.It combines advanced western techniques and gradually forms a unique creative style.This new creation mode with folk music as the theme refers to transplanting the music theme,music development and music form in the original music works,and adding creative arrangement on this basis to achieve the characteristics of piano performance,playing new music works with the piano as the carrier,thus shaping the creation method of the mainstream of Chinese piano music in the 1960s and 1970s.Since the piano piece "Liuyang River" is adapted from folk songs,the composer has made full use of the piano's unique characteristics of wide range and rich harmonic colors,breaking the limitation of human voice in folk songs and folk minor,and increasing the musical expression of the work from the sound effect and expression tension.Many details need to be paid attention to when playing:different decorative notes,different accompaniment textures and different rhythm and sound patterns need different treatment methods.This piano piece can be perfectly performed only by rationally using the wide range of piano music,deeply understanding the content and emotion expressed in the original song,and presenting the three-dimensional scene of the Liuyang River surging and expressing the praise to Chairman Mao.Starting from the author's performance experience,this article will focus on the analysis of the national characteristics of the piano adaptation "Liuyang River" such as tonality,timbre,sound effect,melody,etc.And through how to use pedal,rhythm,speed,strength and other performance skills to express music emotion.
