Analysis Of Character Development Throug Character And Musical Design In<IF>-The Chinese Original Musical

Characterization is an important issue in musical creation.For the original musical in China,the Characterization and Musical design of character are the core issues in creation and performance.This paper is taking the original musical named If as analysis object,starting from the script,drama,music and so on aspects,to analyze and research the creation methods of characterization and its performance.In the kind of research on the topic,it belongs to the kind of paper which is on practical issues.The selected work of topic is the original musical that the author participated in personally,which the character named Mandy was played by author,so that the author had full experience for the role playing.Therefore,on the one hand,this paper is to analyze the theoretical issues on Characterization and Musical design of character,on the other hand,this paper also summaries the personal practice of this musical work.The research on this paper can be analyzed from the views of macro and micro.From the macro view,the research is aiming at the analysis on text theory,drama theory,music theory and its performance.From the micro view,it is aiming at the analysis of summary of personal performance experience.By analyzing from two different views to ensure that this paper can carry out much deeper research on the issues of character shaping and musical building of character from two aspects of theoretical and practical.
