Analysis On The Performance Characteristics Of Chaozhou Zheng Music In Multi-tone Ensemble

This thesis focuses on the study of “Chaozhou zheng music--the performance characteristics of the work which adopts the multi-tone ensemble”.The author has gone into the field for many times to collect inspirations,consulted the tutor,the school inheritance artists and the work arrangers,and then obtained the perceptual knowledge related to this topic and the first-hand information related to the work in immersion-style.By means of literature research,summarizing,analysis and other methods,in combination with their own actual performance experience,based on combing the relevant background of Chaozhou zheng school,taking the newly compiled Chaozhou zheng music Four Seasons Lotus as an example,the thesis takes the traditional four characteristics of the Chaozhou zheng music involved in the work(according to the order of the work: heavy SanLiu tone,live SanWu tone,light SanLiu tone,reverse line tone)as clues to conduct the exploration of the performance characteristics of the different background colors of Chaozhou zheng music's different tones according to the music content and emotion expression in each section of the work.The purpose of the thesis is to “provide some certain basis for the performance practice”,looking forward to the rational analysis of the performance of this work,and throwing some light on this field to stimulate people's further thinking on “how to control the relationship of the proportion and coordination between inheritance and innovation” during the process of inheriting the traditional Chaozhou zheng art.
