Summary writing is a "reading + writing" compound task,on the one hand,it tests the ability to get the main idea and keywords of the article through reading.On the other hand,it also tests the writing ability,that is,the ability to summarize the important information in concise language and grasp the overall structure.With the wave of college entrance examination reform,Liaoning Province has also adopted the summary writing type.Therefore,it is of practical significance to carry out summary writing training for high school students in Liaoning Province.Discourse analysis is mostly focused on reading teaching,and there is little research on the summary writing.This study is based on the theory of discourse analysis and aims to explore the implementability and effect of genre-based,cohesive and coherent teaching of summary writing so as to provide some suggestions for the teaching of summary writing.For this purpose,the author conducted a three-month teaching experiment.The subjects were 80 students in two parallel classes in the first year of senior high school in Anshan.The class 1 is the experimental class,the class 8 is the control class.In the experimental teaching based on discourse analysis,before writing,we use genre knowledge to analyze the text,make clear the structure and content of the original text.in writing,we use cohesion and coherence knowledge to rewrite the original text,pay attention to the choice of words and sentences,after writing,we use discourse analysis to revise the first draft and concentrate into coherent articles.This research adopts testing,teaching experiment,questionnaire and interview.Data of all test results uses SPSS software to analyze.The results show that there are obvious differences between the pre-test and post-test and the two questionnaires,which shows that the teaching based on discourse analysis has certain validity.The interview shows that the teaching form perspective of "discourse analysis" has been affirmed and supported by most students,and the students hope to get more training of this teaching method to improve the summary writing level.
