Study On The Artistic Characteristics And Design Value Of Xiba Kiln Ceramics In Leshan

The Xiba kiln is a local folk kiln in Leshan area of Sichuan Province,which mainly produces ceramics for daily life.Because it is located in Leshan,Sichuan Province,it is also called Xishan Xiba kiln.The written records of the Xiba kiln in Leshan are hardly found in the historical documents of each dynasty.Moreover,due to its relatively late scientific archaeological excavation,the Xiba kiln in Leshan is rarely known.However,according to the unearthed artifacts,ceramics of xiba kiln are extremely rich in categories,exquisite in craftsmanship and the decorative style has unique artistic characteristics,especially its unpredictable glaze color is the most imaginative and exquisite.The ceramics of Xiba kiln in Leshan have distinctive regional characteristics,showing a unique aesthetic form and cultural connotation.As an integral part of Chinese ceramic art,Xiba kiln ceramics not only enrich the diversity of Chinese ceramic art,but also reflect the cultural accumulation handed down from generation to generation.It is the rich content of Chinese traditional culture which is broad and profound and has a long history.It is a valuable mineral resource,providing an inexhaustible source for the development of contemporary design,art and other culture,and has unique design value.This paper mainly takes the ceramics unearthed from Xiba kiln in Leshan as the object.Starting from the development process of Xiba kiln,the paper focuses on the in-depth analysis and research on the artistic characteristics and design value of Xiba kiln ceramics,and carries out relevant design practice exploration.First of all,through literature review,on-the-spot investigation and other research methods,this paper roughly to sort out the evolution of the development process of Xiba kiln in Leshan,and gradually analyzes the reasons for its rise and decline and the interaction with other kilns,and carries out a comparative analysis of the horizontal characteristics of related ceramic artifacts.Secondly,on the basis of the existing relevant literature research,through the exchange and interview of multi-disciplinary experts to obtain important evidence,combined with the collection and analysis of a large number of physical image data,from the perspective of history,iconography,design,etc.explore the characteristics of ceramics such as history and culture,category plastic arts,firing skills,decorative art and other elements of Xiba kiln in Leshan.At the same time,combined with the relevant research on the art characteristics of Xiba kiln ceramics in Leshan,the design value and rich design expression reflected in the design level are analyzed,and the design principles and design methods of Xiba kiln ceramics integrating into today’s social life for innovative design transformation are extracted,providing theoretical support for exploring its innovative transmission and inheritance channels,andalso for the current design development and development The innovation and transformation of traditional culture provides enlightenment and reference,and gradually enriches the research significance and value of Xiba kiln ceramics in Leshan.Finally,based on the above research,we will carry out relevant design practice based on the ceramic elements of Xiba kiln in Lishan,in order to enrich the communication channels of Xiba kiln ceramics in Leshan through the design innovation of traditional utensil elements,to attract more people’s attention and research on the ceramic art of Xiba kiln,and then understand and inherit more excellent traditional culture of China,so that it will not be hidden and become rich and valuable cultural resources for social innovation and progress of today.
