Research On Interrogation Discourse Strategy Of Investigators’

Interrogation discourse strategy refers to the sum of discourse strategies used by investigators to achieve the current discourse purpose through the selection and use of language styles and discourse resources according to the discourse behavior of criminal suspects during interrogation.Interrogation discourse is one of the core contents of interrogation activities.Interrogation discourse strategy can change the current degree of discourse cooperation of criminal suspects to a certain extent,which determines the success or failure of interrogation activities to some degree.From the perspective of linguistics,based on Grice’s cooperative principle and the purpose principle in pragmatic research,this paper takes interrogative discourse as the research object to carry out the research on interrogative discourse strategy of investigators.This paper uses corpus analysis,frame analysis,comparative analysis and other research methods,starting from the level of the suspect’s discourse cooperation in interrogation,classifies the suspect’s cooperation level into four progressive development stages,namely,non-cooperation,pseudocooperation,semi-cooperation and cooperation,analyzes the purpose of interrogation discourse according to the psychological characteristics of the suspect in each stage,and finally forms interrogation discourse strategies corresponding to the suspect’s discourse behavior in each stage.In this way,corresponding interrogation discourse strategies are formed,so that investigators can accurately identify the cooperation status of criminal suspects during interrogation and adopt appropriate discourse strategies to achieve the purpose of interrogation.This article is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which briefly describes the research background of this paper,defines the research issues and research purposes of this paper,and points out the sources,research methods and research ideas of the corpus used in this research,thus paving the way for the following discussion.The second chapter is the introduction on theoretical basis.Through the introduction of Grice’s cooperative principle and the objective principle,the author analyzes the necessity and feasibility of applying the cooperative principle and the objective principle theory to the research of interrogation discourse strategies.The third chapter is the formation process of interrogation discourse strategy from the perspective of linguistics,aiming at clarifying the relationship between the relevant elements and explaining the formation process of interrogation discourse strategy by analyzing the basic elements of interrogation discourse strategy formation.The fourth to sixth chapters are the main parts of this article.According to the changing stages of the suspect’s cooperation degree in the third chapter,the fourth to sixth chapters respectively introduce the discourse behavior characteristics and psychological characteristics of the suspectin the non-cooperation,pseudo-cooperation and semi-cooperation states,and finally obtain the corresponding discourse strategy of the investigator’s interrogation through the decomposition of the investigator’s discourse purpose.The conclusion part,chapter 7,summarizes the research ideas and main viewpoints of this paper,draws the research conclusion,reflects the shortcomings of this research,and puts forward some thoughts and prospects for future research.From the perspective of linguistics,the innovation of this paper lies in the combination of linguistics and investigative science to a certain extent.The deficiency lies in the fact that the research is only a preliminary attempt and the topic covers too wide a range of contents.In addition,the amount of corpus involved in this article is still limited.Finally,made on only interrogation discourse strategies,assumptions and analyses have not been verified.In the future research,we need to further enrich the corpus of interrogation discourse research and explore the feasibility of interrogation discourse strategies.discourse strategies.
