| Nouns of locality are words that indicate direction or position.These are indispensable factors in human understanding of the world and play an important role in human cognition for spatial concept.Both Chinese and Korean have their own nouns of locality and there are indeed a lot of differences between them.This paper examines Korean students’ understanding and acquisition in terms of the nouns of locality such as “li” “nei” “zhong” in Chinese.First,a comparative analysis of the function of the nouns of locality such as“li” “nei” “zhong” in two languages,Chinese and Korean.Based on the analysis of HSK dynamic composition corpus and the method of questionnaire survey,we find out the typical error when Korean student who study abroad use nouns of locality such as “li” “nei” “zhong” in Chinese,then analyze them and finally give the corresponding learning opinions.This article is divided into seven chapters: the first chapter is the introduction,which includes the reasons for choosing the subject,the purpose of research,the meaning of research,the method of research and the source of the material.The second chapter is a review of the related research,the ontology of the nouns of locality such as “li” “nei” “zhong” in Chinese and the study of the teaching method of Chinese language,the study of the nouns of locality such as “li” “nei” “zhong” in Korea,and the problems existing in the previous study.The third chapter mainly explains the characteristics of the nouns of locality such as “li” “nei” “zhong”in both Chinese “Korean.The contrasts between them in regards to the functional features of the language.The fourth chapter is an analysis of the acquisition of nouns of locality in Chinese in the HSK dynamic composition corpus,and an analysis of the misappropriation of nouns of locality such as “li” “nei” “zhong” in Chinese by majority Korean students.According to the analysis: There are four main types of error for character "li" :miscalculation,omissions,misalignment,and misappropriation.There are three main types of error for character "nei" : miscalculation,omissions,and misalignment.There are three main types of error for character "zhong" : miscalculation,omissions and misalignment.Chapter 5is a survey and analysis about Korean students who are studying abroad,their use of the nouns of locality such as “li” “nei” “zhong” in Chinese.The results of the survey wereanalyzed,the students at the advanced level mastered the use of words of locality,the correct rates were high,and the correct rates of students at the primary level and the advanced level were different.There are two main reason for the error:The first is the influence of the mother tongue.Korean students,who had not yet mastered the asymmetry in the structure of Chinese and Korean language,when they first started learning Chinese,they directly translated Korean into Chinese,which results in negative mother-tongue migration.The second is the effect of the term and when Korean students acquire some knowledge of the subject and grammatical rules,they will mislead them and apply it to the new contents.Chapter 6 introduces the principles of education and makes five suggestions on the study of the nouns of locality such as “li” “nei” “zhong” in Chinese for Korean students who are currently studying abroad:First is a detailed explanation of the cultural differences between the two countries;Secondly,teachers should use some supplementary measures appropriately in their teaching;Third,teacher should be good at distinguish the contrasts and assist student to maintain the ability to see the difference between two langauages;Fourth,the integration of elements into their teaching met;The fifth one is design exercises to help students to practice.Chapter 7 is a closing statement,which illustrates the main conclusions and research shortcomings and future research prospects of this article. |
