| Global urbanization development promotes the process of China’s urbanization.With the improvement of social and economic level,problem caused by China’s urbanization process has become obvious,such as disordered urban expansion and uncoordinated regional development.The theme of urban space research has changed from pursuing the increase in scale and quantity to improving the quality of cities,which has aroused attention and research on concepts such as urban vitality.Urban vitality is an important indicator to measure the quality of urban development and ensure the healthy and sustainable development of the city.At present,domestic research on urban vitality is in the exploratory stage,and a unified measurement method and theoretical system have not yet been formed.The rise of multivariate big data provides a massive data foundation for studying urban spatial issues,and enriches the evaluation and analysis methods of urban vitality.This study used the DMSP / OLS night lighting data from 2000 to 2013 to construct the characterization factor of urban vitality,and analysis characteristics of temporal and spatial changes of urban vitality,then used a multiple linear regression model to construct an impact factor index system of urban vitality by using the POI data and road network data.This study combined the multiple data sources such as lighting data,road network data,remote sensing image data,etc.to make multi-level and multidimensional analysis of the influencing factors of urban vitality is realized by combining,which provides a reference for the creation of urban vitality.The research results show that:(1)The overall level of vitality in the Wuhan Metropolitan Area is not high,mainly reflected in the low coverage of the vitality coverage area,about 53.96%,and the distribution of high vitality areas is small,accounting for about 9.41% of the total area;(2)The spatial distribution characteristics of urban vitality have a remarkable ring-shaped radial structure taking Wuhan as the center city,and divided into different vitality levels according to the spatial distribution value of the vitality intensity,forming a spatial structure as "one main center,one secondary center,two main axis,two wings,one group" spatial structure;(3)The temporal changes of urban vitality show obvious characteristics of phased development: from 2000 to 2008 is a stable development period,2009 is the abnormal point of vitality change,2009-2013 Year is a period of rapid development of vitality.(4)Indicators such as population density,road weighted density,functional density,functional diversity and mixed land use are positively correlated with urban vitality intensity,indicating that these factors can promote the improvement of urban vitality intensity.The vitality of the city originates from the gathered population,an accessible transportation network,lots of rich and diverse urban functional facilities,and mixed land use. |
