On The Role Of The Minor Characters In The Play

In a story,the secondary characters are often not only regarded as a supplementary explanation of the world where the protagonist lives,but also not simply exist as a tool man.In this paper,I take my graduation film and TV play "antibody" as an example to discuss the role of secondary characters in the script and story,and through the analysis and summary of works with typical secondary characters,summarize and sort out,and explore its value.At first,the author classifies the minor characters into three types: complementary type,opposite type and friendly type;secondly,the author discusses the role of the minor characters in the transmission of information,the postponement of events and the promotion of the plot in the story;finally,the author discusses the influence of the minor characters on the protagonist as well as other characters with the relationship between the classic characters and the protagonist in the play The value of their own meaning.
