The social withdrawal behavior of young children is one of the common problem behaviors of young children,which is an important content in the social development of young children,and is also the content of attention in the study of psychology and pedagogy.Many studies have shown that social withdrawal behavior has adverse effects on children's current and future development,and is a risk factor for children's social adaptability and mental health development.Early childhood shows high withdrawal behavior,childhood will lack social communication skills,adolescence will appear a low sense of self-efficacy,and may even show a more backward state in the future academic,career and even marriage.According to ecosystem theory and family system theory,family environment is the key factor that affects the growth of young children.In view of this,this study examined the basic characteristics of children's social withdrawal behavior and the influence of family environment on children's social withdrawal and its influence mechanism,in order to provide effective theoretical support for the prevention and intervention of children's social withdrawal behavior.Study 1 on the basis of theoretical research and semi-structured interviews,the evaluation questionnaire of children's social withdrawal parents was compiled,and the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested,after testing,the reliability and validity of the questionnaire meet the basic requirements of psychometrics.Study 2 conducted a questionnaire survey of 1447 parents of young children in 17 kindergartens,using marriage satisfaction questionnaire,parental rearing style questionnaire,parent-child relationship questionnaire and self-compiled evaluation questionnaire of children's social withdrawal parents,to investigate the current situation of children's family environment and social withdrawal,and to explore the influence mechanism of family environment on children's social withdrawal.The main findings are as follows:(1)The evaluation questionnaire of children's social withdrawal parents compiled in this study includes three dimensions: shy silence,active withdrawal and passive withdrawal.The questionnaire has good reliability and validity and can be used as an evaluation tool for children's social withdrawal behavior.(2)The scores of children's social withdrawal scores and their factors in different classes were significantly different.The score of small class children in shy silence,active withdrawal and passive withdrawal was significantly higher than that of middle class children and large class children.From the total score of children's social withdrawal parents' evaluation,small class children scored the highest,followed by middle class children,and the lowest score was large class children.(3)Parents' marital satisfaction,democratic upbringing style,parent-child intimacy were negatively correlated with the total score of children's social withdrawal,while doting,laissez-faire,autocratic,inconsistent,parent-child conflict were positively correlated with the total score of children's social withdrawal.Children's family socio-economic status(ses)is positively related to parents' marital satisfaction,democratic parenting style,parent-child intimacy,and parent-child conflict,and significantly negatively related to active withdrawal in children's social withdrawal.(4)Among the subjective family environment factors,democratic parenting style and parent-child intimacy play a chain intermediary role between parents' marital satisfaction and children's social withdrawal.(5)The direct effect of objective family environment factors on children's social withdrawal is not significant,but subjective family environment plays an intermediary role between objective family environment and children's social withdrawal.
