A Case Study On Judicial Social Work Involved In Juvenile Delinquency In Rural Areas Research On Community Correction

“Teenagers are the future of a country,the hope of a nation,and the the builders and successors of the socialist modernization drive.” However,There are many more juvenile delinquencies.School shootings frequently occur abroad.Meanwhile,it is often reported at home that teenager offenders killed their parents or roommates.Juvenile delinquency has become a common social concern in the world.It is also a social problem that must be solved in our social governance when our country enters a new era.Therefore,promoting the complete implementation of the basic principle of ruling the country by law,building a harmonious living environment for teenagers,and advancing the development of the economic society will become heated social issues.Since the implementation of community corrections in China in August 2002,the implementation and effectiveness of community corrections have distinguished in regions due to economic disparities,geographical conditions,history and culture.The community correction for teenagers in China has not yet formed an independent system,let alone the correction for juvenile delinquency of left-behind teenagers in the central hilly area.However,teenagers are definitely not an adult's accessory.Treasuring teenagers will never become the shelters for juvenile delinquency.In the community correction,it is not possible to reflect the society's attention and respect for young people merely by referring to the slight relaxation of adults.The community correction of the juvenile delinquency in rural areas is special.It needs to be distinguished from the common community correction.Meanwhile,the central hilly area is expansive,and the number of left-behind teenagers there accounts for more proportion of the total number of left-behind teenagers in the rural areas.In this paper,the author,combining his own internship experience,takes the rural grass-roots judicial office in Y Town of X County as the example from the poor areas in the central China.The present situation of the life,study and work of the teenagers in rural areas,the characteristics and causes of their crimes,and the necessity of the judicial social work involved in the community correction of the juvenile delinquency will be explored and analyzed.This paper makes an in-depth study on the community correction of the grass-roots judicial institute in accordance with the related theories,laws and policies of social work specialty.It also puts forward some suggestions for improvement and summarizes some practical and useful measures in terms of the disadvantages.What's more,it makes a exploratory research towards the theory and practice of judicial social work intervening in the crime of left-behind teenagers in rural areas under the new situation.
