Research On The Construction Of Smart City In Huai'an City

The progress of human society has driven the development of cities.However,the“urban diseases” such as population growth,resource shortage,environmental pollution and traffic congestion appear to challenge the construction and management of the city.Through the use of a new generation of information technology,smart city make the city easy to be perceived,can quickly integrate urban resources,and enable the city to be intelligent and refined,reflecting the concept of sustainable development.It is foreseeable that “smart” will become an important path for future global urban development.This paper uses literature analysis methods,comparative research methods,case analysis methods and other research methods.Mainly from the smart city and public management related theories,study the role and characteristics of smart city and the role of the government in the construction of smart city,and to analyze the role of the government in the construction of "smart Huai'an",and analyze the problems and causes existing in the construction of "smart Huai'an".The main problems are as follows: the project coverage is wide,the construction focus is not prominent;with the market for industry,the government's dominance is weakened;it is difficult to optimize the integration,and the use of information resources is low;the lack of interactive channels,the participation of the people is not high.Under the premise of deep understanding of the background and current situation of the construction of smart city in Huai'an,and drawing on the experience of smart city construction at home and abroad,this paper believes that the construction of smart city in Huai'an City should select development goals and clarify the government's construction priorities;establish institutional guarantees and play the government's the overall role;optimize the construction environment and make good policy support by the government;promote service-oriented government and increase public participation.
