Research On Leadership Development Of Commanding Officer In Armed Police Forces

The command and management officers are important backbone for educating,training and managing the army while they are the main part for carrying out the army task.So attaching great importance to cultivate the command and management officers' leadership is meaningful to strengthen the combat effectiveness of the army.The paper analysed the function's trait as a command and management officer working for military police,and draw a conclusion about the general requirements of cultivating a command and management officer's ability as a leader based on the leadership theory.Questionnaires were designed for this study,and then collected the current information on training command and management officers' leadership.Finally,the paper put forward the main problems of the training command and management officers through comparative analysis of the methods and approaches of the training of native officers with the foreign ones.At last,the policy Suggestions on improving and strengthening the leadership training of the military police command and management were put forward from five aspects according to the analysis results.This study is of theoretical and practical significance to the training of the command and management of the armed police force and the improvement of the quality of the force construction.
