A Practical Study On The Promotion Of Elderly Community Volunteers To Participate In The Voluntary Service Of Police Patrol

With the increasingly severe global aging phenomenon,China's aging situation is not optimistic.How to minimize the service pressure brought by the aging society so that the elderly can enjoy their old age has become a major issue and primary topic that we need to discuss at present.Through investigation and research,it is found that people can still find what they like to do in their old age and make contributions to the development of society with their own strength.We should deal with the situation and life of the elderly and even the aging society with a positive and inclusive attitude.Community voluntary service for the elderly is an indispensable part of the voluntary service system and plays an irreplaceable role in relieving the pressure of elderly service and realizing active aging.Based on this,first of all,this paper continues the view of active aging,taking the elderly volunteers of the community security patrol as the research object to carry out the investigation.In addition,I also learned about the research status and significance of elderly volunteers' participation in community volunteer service at home and abroad,and obtained the service content,significance,perspective and object of current social work for elderly volunteers' participation in community volunteer service.In research method the author USES quantitative and qualitative research methods,affecting the volunteer patrol participation motivation types do factor analysis,classification of volunteer participation motivation,combining the factor analysis results it is concluded that the average scores of each dimension,the overall analysis of volunteer participation motivation is influenced by what the dimension is big,analysis the reason of low score,which have the characteristics of the elderly volunteers to participate in the public security patrol volunteer service.Combined with the content of the author's interview and observation,the problems encountered by the elderly community volunteers when participating in the public security patrol are obtained,including the volunteers' lack of correct understanding of the objects of volunteer service,their weak willingness to improve their skills,and their unclear understanding of their own advantages and advantages.Finally this study based on the regional development pattern in community social work,combined with the development of social work organization and the content of the community volunteer organizations,for the security patrol elderly volunteers to participate in volunteer service problems in service,one is through focus group interviews to determine their idea of volunteer service knowledge training;Secondly,through the theme meeting of voluntary knowledge of security patrol,the solutions to problems encountered by elderly volunteers of security patrol were investigated.Third,social workers should play the role of resource linkers to provide elderly volunteers with voluntary service knowledge,skills and self-knowledge training.Fourth,with the help of social workers,elderly volunteers of public security patrol participated in the selection activity of "duty patrol" to enhance their sense of voluntary service participation and ability of voluntary service;Fifth,through the acquisition of external resources to support the development of the police patrol to create momentum.The solutions and measures proposed in this study,to a certain extent,provide reference for the development of other community volunteer organizations,and on the other hand,improve the ability of community residents to participate in community governance.And this study not only enhance the sense of responsibility,sense of belonging and community,also due to the particularity and importance of community public security patrol,strengthen and stabilize the elderly volunteer can also participate in community public security patrol for the steady development of the whole community and society have a positive role,in addition to the elderly to participate in community volunteer service is a part of community participation,also can promote the community residents to participate in community governance.
