Research On Commercial Insurance Participating In Pension Security System Of Jiangsu Province

As the aging problem and the development of economy,China's existing social pension security system construction and supply can't meet the growing demand for pension security.The coordination of commercial insurance and social insurance plays an important role in the development of the multi-level pension security system.The thesis firstly analyzes the status of pension security and commercial insurance of Jiangsu Province,and raised a viewpoint that the pension security system construction has a series of problems in Jiangsu Province.Since insurance industry has successfully managed many pension projects over the years,and has accumulated rich experience.Therefore,it is practicable and necessary for commercial insurance to participate in the construction of pension security system.The thesis discusses how insurance industry participates in the construction of pension security system of Jiangsu Province.The commercial insurance improves the pension security level of Jiangsu's residents by the participation,meets the differentiated pension needs of enterprises and residents,and opens the route for joint cooperation of the government and insurance companies in the pension insurance system.However,there are also some places to be improved,such as the homogenization of pension products,low awareness of social insurance,the government's incentive policies have not been implemented,and the regulatory system is unsound.To resolve this problems,the author suggests to learn from the experience of the US,Germany and Chile,and base on the actual conditions of Jiangsu province in the meantime.In the end,the following proposals are made: the government should compile the life table of Jiangsu region,and insurance companies should optimize the supply of products and services;governmental departments should carry out insurance education to enhance the society's awareness of commercial insurance;insurance companies should seek more governmental support to remove policy barriers;the government should guide the insurance industry to play a market-oriented role in the allocation of resources,so as to improve the efficiency and quality of Jiangsu's pension insurance service.
