Group Work To Improve The Adaptability Of The Elderly In Institutions

With the deepening of the aging of the population and the increasing burden of social pension,the development of social pension mode shows a trend of diversification.Many old people and families choose to provide for the aged in social institutions.In the face of this sudden change from home-based to institutional pension,whether the elderly can quickly adapt to the daily life of social pension institutions has a great impact on the quality of life and happiness of the elderly in their later years.This paper takes D old-age institution in Shenyang as an example,selects some new old-age people as research objects,and uses literature research,interview,questionnaire survey and other research methods,starting from the actual life,expounds the adaptation problems of the new old-age people in D old-age institution in the aspects of daily life,interpersonal communication,psychological status,etc.,and obtains some preliminary improvement Effect.Using the advantage perspective and ecosystem theory,this paper systematically analyzes the reasons behind the accommodation problems of the newly admitted elderly,fully combines the professional methods of group social work,explores the solutions to the accommodation problems of the newly admitted elderly in many aspects,and forms a complete problem research system to provide reference and participation for the improvement of the adaptability of the elderly in the newly admitted institutions Test.This paper consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research background,purpose and significance.The literature review reviews the previous research results from the aspects of the living adaptation of the elderly in institutions,the influencing factors of the living adaptation and the social work involved in the living adaptation of the elderly,and determines the main research direction.The second part is the core concept,theoretical basis and analysis framework.The third part describes the research methods.The fourth part introduces the current situation and existing problems of the old people's adaptability in the D old-age care institutions,and analyzes the causes of the existing problems in their ability improvement.In the fifth part,according to the current situation and needs of the elderly,we design a targeted group activity plan,introduce the detailed process of group activities,evaluate the activity process and summarize.The last part is the review and reflection,and puts forward the shortcomings and improvement suggestions of this study.The innovation point of this paper focuses on the problems of the living adaptation of the elderly in the new elderly care institutions.The research angle is relatively unique,and has very important theoretical and practical significance.Group work helps the new elderly to adapt to the new environment of the institutions more quickly,and the re establishment of interpersonal network has strong professional advantages.However,there are individual differences in the research objects,which can not represent the overall state of all the elderly,and not necessarily all of them are suitable for group social work methods.Therefore,from the perspective of representativeness,this study still has certain limitations.
