Higher vocational education provides talents for the advance of China's economy,and acts an important role in the process of adjusting economic structure and realizing industrial upgrading.With the increase of social demand for practical talents,the status of higher vocational education in people's eyes is increasing day by day.How to cultivate excellent higher vocational students and how to more effectively carry out employment guidance and mental health education for higher vocational students has become a hot spot of people's attention.Therefore,the current study begins with the understanding of the basic status of vocational college students' social skills,social anxiety and career decision-making selfefficacy,and analyzes the relationship between social skills,social anxiety and career decision-making self-efficacy of vocational college students,so as to provide theoretical basis for further employment guidance and mental health education for vocational college students.In this study,299 students from a vocational college in Lanzhou were randomly selected as the research objects.Using the college students' social skills scale,college students' social anxiety scale and college students' career decision-making self-efficacy scale as the research tools,independent sample t-test,one-way ANOVA,correlation analysis and structural equation model were used to draw the following conclusions: the overall level of social skills of higher vocational students is higher,most students feel good about themselves,feel confident about their ability to deal with different career decision-making.There are two correlations among social skills,social anxiety and career decision-making self-efficacy.The social skills of higher vocational students can directly affect their career decision-making self-efficacy as well as their career decision-making self-efficacy through social anxiety.The above conclusions show that social skills and social anxiety are important factors that affect career decision-making self-efficacy.
