With the development of the social economy and the growth of population,we should pay more attention to China aging phenomenon.On the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasizes: we need devote to set up the health of the China aging society.On the one hand,the family planning policy stimulates the change of population structure;On the other hand,the medical level and the life quality of residents improves obviously.These factors lead to the proportion of aged population.The rapid ageing of the population has already weakened the demographic dividend.It presents the characteristics of “getting old before getting rich”,The aging's trend of the eastern region?the middle region and the western region take on : unbalanced development ?Internal diversity.In the course of economic development,“high savings” causes the High investment mode—it is the main way that our country drives economic growth.But high savings will lead to lower levels of consumer spending,cause the burden on the financial system,it will also affect the overall trend of economic development.Therefore,to explore the impact of aging on the regional difference of national saving rate,draw conclusions and solve practical problems of aging society,which will be of great significance to improve people's livelihood.This paper is composed of six chapters,Chapter one is the introduction which tells us search background and motivations as well as research methods and the main work;Chapter two is the literature review and the analysis of the basic theory.The first section comb and integrate the classic literature on the impact of aging and saving rate.The second section is about the theoretical foundation of the thesis and the construction of theoretical model.On the basis of the intertemporal consumption model and life cycle theory,the generation overlapping model and the consumption decision model are constructed,explain the impact and relationship of aging and saving rate;Chapter three analyzes the impact of aging on saving rate and the regional differences of aging on savings rate,come up with a hypothesis;Chapter four is the analysis of descriptive statistics;Chapter five is the empirical analysis,using stata13.0 measurement software to estimate the whole and regional model;Chapter six is the conclusion and policy suggestion.This paper is based on the panel data of 31 provinces in?China statistical yearbook(2007-2016)?,come up with a hypothesis,draw a conclusion :Aging is negatively correlated with the saving rate,which is spreading from economically developed regions.In China,the eastern region has the highest degree of aging,followed by the middle region,and the western region is the weakest.In view of the existing problems in China's aging,we put forward the following policies and Suggestions:1.We will improve the pension policy,to address the concerns of residents;2.Promote the dividend of secondary population,relieve the burden of aging on saving;3.Allocate social resources reasonably,promote coordinated development among regions;4.We will increase the consumption capacity of the population and expand the aging industry.
