Middle school stage is an important period for the development of people's worldviews,values and outlook on life.The concept of integrity is the moral foundation of people's life,friendship and development.In the era of cultural exchange and integration between China and the west,value pluralism is an unavoidable reality issues,and under this multiple values contexts,there is a crisis of integrity among teenagers.Hence,research on the representations of integrity and its educational promotion among teenager is of great significance for the national and ethnic securities.To explore social representation and its core elements of the integrity,and its educational strategies in Hani middle school students from both Sanmeng national middle school and The No.1 senior school inYuanyang county of Honghe prefecture Yunnan province,the present study firstly used a word-association test with Integrity as an evoked word to collect 726 students' free association responses.Then based on the theories of both social representations and social network analysis,complex network analysis techniques with Pajek software as a tool including global and local network characteristics,network visualization,k-core decomposition were employed to analyze the structure of the evoked words networks about social representations on integrity,comparing the representational differences between both gender and schooling stage.Finally,based on the results of the social representations of integrity,the promotional strategies of integrity education were conceived for Hani middle students.The main results are as follows:Firstly,the social representations on integrity was a 8-core multilayer complex network organized by the two core elements: Honesty and Keep faith as the central nucleus,and its general meaning generated from the following 11 central elements and their connections: Honesty,keep faith,trust,punctuality,ethics,personhood,morality,respect,commitment,abide by and friendship.Secondly,there were similar global structure properties in both middle and senior school students' social representation of integrity.However,when thinking about the integrity,the middle school students tended to use the core nucleus of Keep faith to organize the representational structure of integrity,attaching importance to specific core elements of respect,abide by,friendship,responsibility,while senior school students employed honesty as the core nucleus to construct the representational organizations,focusing on three unique core elements of ethics,commitment,quality.Thirdly,both male and female commonly shared the following eight core elements of honesty,keep faith,trust,punctuality,ethics,morality,personhood,commitment,but the female emphasized the specific core elements of abide by,thinking highly of keep faith,while the male regarded commitment as important but without sharing a unique core element.Fourthly,the hierarchical network system awareness should be absorbed in the process of the integrity education for Hani teenagers,meanwhile the educational objectives of integrity could be decomposed step by step on the basis of the mode of core-marginality-periphery.Then according to each subgoal,multiple paths were designed to achieve progressively the final goal,further promoting the development of integrity mind in Hani teenagers.To sum up,based on the framework of social representation theory,this study explored the social representation pattern of integrity and its shared core elements among Hani teenagers.After this,the hierarchical objectives of integrity education and its matching promotive strategies for Hani teenagers were successfully conceived in term of the vertex degree and its network significance.So this research results will help to consolidate the theoretical study of integrity and to optimize the approach to the ideological and moral education among Hani teenagers.Hence,this article can provide a scientific method for understanding the essential connotation of integrity,also offering the curriculum design ideas and teaching materials for the integrity education in both middle and high school students.
