With the implementation of Document 46 issued on October 20,2014,the right to examine and approve mass events and commercial events has been opened,and the marathon has reached an unprecedented culmination.Running sports are rapidly heating up in China,and various marathons have emerged in an endless stream,presenting blow-out development.Nowadays,in the global environment of competition,the governance of developing countries is also transforming.Cities and local governments promote and support the holding of Mega sports actively.The holding of urban marathon has provided a bridge for urban development undoubtedly.A city to hold a marathon can fully display the city's style,through the Live broadcast,the city's construction,natural scenery,history,culture,and public appearance to the audience,so as to enhance the city's image.Relying on CIS theory,combines quantitative research with qualitative research,and by using literature,questionnaires,mathematical statistics and other methods to analyze the visual image of the city,the historical background of the city marathon was introduced,and the dimensions and influence mechanism of the city marathon on the city image were analyzed;and the influence of the Nanchang International Marathon on the city image was empirically studied.The findings are as follows:1.The characteristics of the city's marathon include:Gathering beauty and gathering.The influence of the urban marathon on the image of the city will be through the three dimensions of urban visual image,urban behavior image,and urban concept image.2.The Influence of Urban Marathon on the City Image:The Mass Media of Marathon makes it able to attract the attention of various media.It makes whole city's style be displayed in front of the people of the whole country and even the world,so as to enhance the recognition of the city's image and the memory of the city's image.The collective nature of the city's marathon races will enable more event-related personnel to come to the city hosting the event,experience the city first hand,further spread word of mouth and expand the city's popularity.3.The Nanchang International Marathon was held to promote the fitness activities of residents in Nanchang City.The integration of the marathon and the "red" culture has promoted the "red" culture of Nanchang City and made it a major feature of the urban marathon.4.There are differences in the effects of Nanchang International Marathon of different genders on the behavior of the government in the image of urban behavior.The difference is that girls' consent index is lower than that of boys.The NanchangInternational Marathon in different age groups has differences in the impact of urban visual image on urban environment The index of consent for people over the age of 60 is lower than that of people of other age groups;The Nanchang International Marathon with different levels of education has a difference in the impact of the city's concept image on the urban spirit.It is expressed as a group with a master's degree or above who has a higher score of consent than that of a bachelor's degree or below.
