The development of rural education in our country has always been at a relatively weak level.There have been many problems and conflicts.It can be said that in order to realize the strategic goal of educational modernization,the key and difficult points are in the countryside.To promote the reform and development of rural education,the logical premise is to determine the value orientation of rural education,that is,first of all what kind of rural education is a good rural education,and then can promote rural education to continue along the right path.Although scholars have conducted profound discussions and even heated debates on this issue,under the complex urban-rural relationship background,the issue of rural education value orientation has not been fundamentally resolved.Therefore,timely reviewing and summarizing the patterns and characteristics of the research on the value orientation of rural education explores the starting point of theories and values behind different perspectives.It helps to clarify the root causes of rural education value orientation and promote rural education theory and rural education.The development of practice has important guiding significance.This research is based on the perspective of text analysis,adopts qualitative analysis methods,takes the research on the theme of rural education value orientation in CSSCI as the object,and describes the research patterns of rural education value orientation since 1998 to reveal The state,characteristics and development trend of research in this field,reflected on existing research,and then constructed the value orientation of rural education.This research mainly divides the existing research into two stages of development,namely,the phase of the dual opposition between “Deviate from Rural Area” and “Serve for Rural Area” and the phase of the dual opposition elimination between“Deviate from Rural Area” and “Serve for Rural Area”.Finally,the rural education will be placed in the new background of the integration of the development of urban and rural areas to investigate,and to explore what kind of social responsibility the rural education should bear in the process of inheriting traditional culture.Finally,the rural education will be placed in the new social background of the integration of urban and rural development to examine and explore what kind of social responsibility rural education should bear in the process of establishing cultural self-confidence.The full text is mainly divided into three parts.The first part is to describe the characteristics of the early stage of research in the field of rural education value orientation.At this stage,the research on the value orientation of rural education presents a binary opposition between “Deviate from Rural Area” and “Serve for Rural Area”.Some scholars believe that rural education should be taught for the transfer of labor,and focus on urban civilization in terms of education content.Some think that rural education should be oriented towards rural life,and teaching should be centered on the production and life practices of farmers and their children.They think that these two values are opposite and irreconcilable.Through the analysis of the social background at that time,it is believed that the reason why the academic community presents a binary opposition to the research on the value orientation of rural education is fundamentally determined by the dual urban opposition of the country at that time.The different values held by the researchers in the discussion of this issue are also one of the reasons that led to the binary opposition of the research results.At the same time,the unclear concept of “Deviate from Rural Area” and “Serve for Rural Area” can also cause debates among scholars.The second part describes the characteristics presented in the current stage of research on rural education value orientation.During this period,scholars tried to jump out of the binary paradox of “Deviate from Rural Area” and “Serve for Rural Area”.In the context of the new urban-rural relationship,an interdisciplinary theoretical perspective was used to explore the proper choice of value orientation in rural education.The research shows a diversified development trend.By analyzing the development characteristics of urban-rural relations at that time,it was believed that with the gradual elimination of the urban-rural dualistic structure,urban-rural exchanges are increasing,and rural education can find a fit between urban development and rural development needs.As the rapid development of interdisciplinarity,it also provides a new theoretical perspective for the study of the value orientation of rural education.Existing researches still have room for improvement in the consistency of research methods,research contents,research perspectives,and research conclusions.This part of the content should become the focus of the next phase of research on the value orientation of rural education.The third part is to discuss the proper choice of the value orientation of rural education under the background of urban-rural integration development.It can be said that it has become a general trend to co-ordinate the development of urban and rural integrated development services.The establishment of cultural confidence in the report of the Nineteenth Congress also requires that urban and rural education,in the overall planning of urban and rural education investment and the building of the teaching staff,should also unrestrainedly assume the responsibility and responsibility for the development of rural civilization and reconstruction of rural cultural confidence.In establishing rural cultural self-confidence,urban and rural education should achieve synergy.And in providing more public cultural services for peasants,rural education needs more.
