In order to carry out the fundamental task of the moral education,the Ministry of Education issued the "guidelines for the improvement of Chinese excellent traditional culture education" in March 26,2014.It was proposed to strengthen the education of Chinese excellent traditional culture with three aspects,such as the responsibility of the country,the honours of virtue and the social care of the people.The classical Chinese is the carrier of Chinese excellent traditional culture.All the Chinese curriculum reform in the new century has put forward the teaching requirements for the classical Chinese teaching.Therefore,the teaching of classical Chinese should play its role in improving the Chinese excellent traditional cultural accomplishment.This study is mainly composed of five parts.The first part of the text introduces the research background,purpose,meaning and method of the topic,and defines the key words like Chinese excellent traditional culture,classical Chinese,teaching strategy and Jiangsu education press,and summarizes the related researches.The second part gives an overview of the basic information of the classical Chinese textbooks,such as the text of classical Chinese and the text time cloth,and summarizes the interlace in the arrangement and the modern text,the theme of the module,the corresponding text on the illustrations,and the illustration of the plot.The characteristics that are rich and easy to understand.The third part analyzes the excellent traditional culture contained in classical Chinese,which is contained in high school Chinese compulsory textbooks.In the situation of family state,main manifestations are to be loyal to the country,to fight aggression,to think of modern and powerful,to think of the country before and to love the country.In social care,main manifestations are people oriented,calling the weak and team cooperation.In the field of self-cultivation,main manifestations are regaining buoyancy,doing like wise man,loving the the elderly and teachers,showing interests inlearning and faceing hard life.The fourth part investigates the present situation of inheriting Chinese excellent traditional culture in classical Chinese teaching in high school.It is found that the situation is not ideal.Although teachers and students are interested in Chinese excellent traditional culture,students are afraid and weary of the teaching of classical Chinese.Some teachers are more single in teaching methods and pay more attention to classical Chinese.The reading ability of basic knowledge and classical Chinese ignores the exploration of the connotation of Chinese excellent traditional culture in the text.The causes of these problems are mainly from three aspects: the language of classical Chinese,the estrangement of the times,the teachers' neglect of the subjectivity of the students and the guiding role of the College entrance examination to the teaching of classical Chinese.The fifth part put forward four strategic suggestions: Firstly,teachers establish the value orientation,clear the Chinese excellent traditional culture connotation in classical Chinese teaching.Secondly,teachers create teaching situation and stimulate students' interest in Chinese excellent traditional culture.Thirdy,teachers build a learning task group,deepen students' understanding of Chinese excellent traditional culture.Fourthly,teachers should promote their development and optimize Classical Chinese teaching.The purpose of this study is to explore how to improve the students' understanding of Chinese excellent traditional culture by optimizing the teaching of classical Chinese,and to provide a reference for the teaching of classical Chinese in high school.
