A Study On The Influencing Factor Of Graduate Students' Innovation Ability

The innovation ability of Engineering Master includes three aspects,involving innovative thinking,innovative character and innovative product.Through independent sample T-test and single factor analysis of variance,we analyze all aspects of the innovation ability performance of the Engineering Master.First,it is not ideal of Engineering Master's innovation on the whole,and it is not satisfactory of the innovative environment.Second,there are differences between different groups in the innovation ability of Engineering Master.The boys were significantly better than girls in intuitive thinking,ability to discover and solve problems and occupancy of innovation.The Engineering Master in grade two is significantly better than that of the students in grade one and grade three in the ability of divergent thinking.The Engineering Master in grade three is significantly better than that of the students in grade one and grade two in the ability of finding and solving problems,the ability of literature searching and application.The Engineering Master in grade three is significantly better than that of the students in grade one and grade two in the ability of converse thinking.The most outstanding performance in innovative product is the Engineering Master in grade three.Among the various types of achievement,the lowest occupancy is the Engineering Master in grade one.The Engineering Master who studies for the same major in bachelor and master is significantly better than the students who study for different major in the abstract logical thinking ability,the ability to find and solve problems,and the occupancy of innovative product.The students having studied in the ordinary institute is better than the students from "985 Project" or "the" 211 Project” in the reverse thinking ability and the occupancy of innovative product.Because of the difference of academic identity of tutors,the Engineering Master showed significant differences in the four dimensions such as intuitive thinking ability,challenge spirit,adventure spirit and the ability of literature searching and application.The number of students whose tutor is academician,who have applied for academic patents,participated in and submitted to the conference was significantly higher than that of other students.The number of students,whose tutor is Changjiang Scholar,who have published academic papers is significantly higher than that of other students.Logistic regression analysis and explanatory regression analysis are used to find out the relationship between the innovative thinking,innovative quality,innovative achievements and the innovative environment of the Engineering Master students.First,the problem finding and solving ability and the ability of literature searching and application of the Engineering Master will contribute to their formation of innovative achievements.Second,adequate academic resources can help Engineering Master to achieve innovative product.Third,adequate academic resources and scientific and reasonable teaching and curriculum are helpful to improve the innovative thinking and innovative character.Therefore,the institute must precisely orientate the goal of cultivation of Engineering Master;formulate scientific and reasonable Engineering Master Courses,methods of transformation of the mode of teaching.And providing high quality resources and environment to cultivate and improve the Engineering Master Innovation ability.In addition,the institute should optimize the structure of Engineering Master's tutor to ensure the adequacy and development of guidance.Engineering Master should play their main role,active learning,and active innovation;improve the character of scientific research innovation and basic ability.
