Currently,curriculum reformation of kindergarten education advocates curriculum integration in China,and emphasizes integrating curriculum which focuses on children as the center of learning which mainly carries out daily education and teaching activities by theme activities.Theme activities reflect new views on kindergarten children,education and curriculum,namely taking children as the center of learning,presenting the contents of integrated education in the form of theme activities,fully integrating all kinds of resources and mobilizing children's positivity to explore the feature of all things around they are interested in,constructing experience and abilities and guiding children to form good personality and achieving all-round development.However,there are still plenty of doubts when kindergartens or teachers are in the process of the designing or implementing of theme activities,which neither is benefit for improving the quality of child care and child teaching in kindergarten nor is to promote all-round and well-balanced development of children both physically and mentally.This study based on the theories of curriculum integration and the design and implementation of theme activities in kindergarten carries out researches on the design and implementation of theme activities in kindergarten under curriculum integration,and mainly discussed the basic connotation,idea and principles on the design of theme activities in kindergarten under curriculum integration,and then designed and implemented the program of theme activities.Mainly using action research,comprehensively taking the methods of literature,observation,and interview and so on,by cooperating with teacher T1,teacher T2 and child-care teacher T3 of Class D in Kindergarten W of Chongqing province,with 30 children and parents of class D as theresearech object,have carried out action research about half year on.Researcher and cooperation teachers have inquiried the truth conditions of tradition festival culture education of class D before action,designed and implemented the theme activities program of Happy New Year which is reflected and improved for three times based on implement situation last time and offered support material for better relevant research on theme activities design and implementation of kindergarten under curriculum integration.Research shows that designed and implemented theme activities of New Year festival culture based on the theory of curriculum integration makes children better comprehensively know festival culture and custom activities which are related to New Year theme,children have deeply understood about festival culture of different peoples and have shown their respection,cultivated children' emotion of loving festival culture,and began to put the emotion into positive-going action.Research also shows that curriculum integration is the theory basis of theme activities design and implementation in kindergarten,integration is the essential feature and requirement of theme activities design and implementation under curriculum integration,and festival culture education should adopts the form of theme integration activities,and cooperation between kindergarten and family is the important way to carry out theme activities.It suggests that kindergartens should enhance theoretical research of theme activities,carry out daily education and teaching of kindergarten by the form of theme integrated activities,strengthen teachers' ability to design and implement of theme activities,reinforce the cooperation of family and kindergarten to carry out theme activities.It also suggests that teachers should have correct views on designing and implementing theme activities and improve the professional skill of the design and implementation of theme activities by multiple ways.
