As the most basic ability of traditional mathematics,mathematical operation ability plays an important role in students ' mathematics learning and future development."The General high School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017 edition)" also proposed six big mathematics key competencies again,and has included the mathematical operation ability.However,when I read a lot of related literatures,I found that the students ' mathematical operation ability is generally low.In the daily study and work practice,many teachers and students also generally reflect that senior high school students math ability need to be improved.For this reason,the author investigates the causes of this situation.This paper investigates 223 students in the senior grade of a high school in Chengdu,Sichuan,using questionnaires and test volumes,and aims to analyze the current status of the mathematical operation ability of the students in the analytic geometry related operations.The test volume mainly takes the analytic geometry knowledge as the background,carries on the analysis to the senior students in the computational ability present situation and causes this present situation,and based on the test volume carries on the follow-up interview to some students.And the questionnaire mainly from seven dimensions to the senior students of the mathematical operation ability of the status of attribution analysis.Finally,we set up two control groups of boys and girls,science students and liberal arts students,and analyzed the difference between the students' test scores and the different dimensions of the questionnaire.The findings show that the mathematical operation ability of senior high school students in analytic geometry correlation operation is low.There is no obvious difference in the mathematical operation ability shown between science students and liberal arts students in this test volume,while the gap between boys and girls is obvious,and the average operational ability of boys is slightly higher than that of girls.But in the questionnaire to each dimension difference analysis,boys and girls in the computational confidence existence obvious difference,the science student and the liberal arts student in the computation confidence and the computation custom existence obvious difference.The analysis results of comprehensive questionnaires and test volumes show that the main reasons for the low computational ability of senior high school students are:(1)Unclear question;(2)Thinking set;(3)Lack of understanding of relevant knowledge;(4)Low computational capacity and lack of concentration;(5)The computation confidence is insufficient,the operation attitude is not correct;(6)Bad operation habits,lack of summary reflection.Based on the above reasons,the author put forward the countermeasures for the current teaching as follows:(1)Strengthen the teaching and application of relevant knowledge,improve the accuracy and speed of mathematical operation ability of students;(2)Cultivate students ' good habits in examining,drafting,estimating,checking and reconsidering;(3)Enriching students ' metacognition;(4)Pay attention to the development of the student's non cognitive factors such as operational motivation,computation belief and confidence of operation.
