Emotional regulation is an important part of children's psychological development,and early childhood is a critical period for the development of emotional regulation.Studies have shown that co-reading between teachers and children can improve children's emotional adjustment ability,but how to read,how to read has become an important problem that plagues front-line teachers.Therefore,this study explores the role of dialog reading skills in the emotional adjustment of children aged 4-5 years.It is of great significance to the improvement of children's emotional ability and the learning skills of kindergarten teachers.Based on the dialog reading theory,the researchers designed 12 emotional picture books together with the preschool teachers and conducted a professional training for the dialogue reading group for four times a week to ensure the effective implementation of dialog reading.On the basis of the issuance of the parental consent form,this study used the quasi-experimental method to intervene in the two middle classes of Shenyang J Kindergarten for a period of six weeks for a total of 12 dialog emotional picture books and traditional picture book readings.The variables are conversational reading,and the dependent variables are the emotional adjustment ability of the subjects.After statistical analysis of the data via SPSS 24,the following conclusions were drawn:(1)Dialog reading has a positive effect on “angry emotional cognition” and “fear emotional cognition” of 4-5 years old children,but the promotion of “happy emotional cognition” and “sad emotional cognition” is not significant.(2)Dialog reading has a positive effect on the “adjustment of one's own emotions”,“adjustment of other people's emotions” and “adjustment of environmental emotions” for 4-5 year olds.(3)Dialog reading can promote the development of emotional cognition and emotional regulation in children aged 4-5 years.According to the results of this study,it is suggested that the purposeful selection of picture books can promote the development of children's emotional regulation,and the preschool teachers' mastery of reading skills can promote the development of children's emotional regulation and the education and training of children's emotionaladjustment should be based on educational recommendations such as one-day life..
