With the growing focus on educational equity in the society, people gradually begin to pay attention to special education.Because deaf students are different from normal students in physiological and cognitive characteristics,it is difficult to learn with ordinary students, learning resources are also difficult to share.Designing learning resources for deaf students needs to be the focus of research, but the relevant research is still poor. With the continuous development of information technology, great changes have been brought to teaching methods. The application of information technology in special education can effectively improve the learning effect by making use of the cognitive characteristics of deaf students to make visual compensation and designing and developing visual learning resources. This research takes visual learning resources as the breakthrough point, takes deaf students in junior high school as the research object, summarizes the cognitive characteristics of deaf students and combines the characteristics of mathematics, explores the design of visual learning resources for deaf students in junior high school, verifies its effectiveness and provides reference experience for the development of learning resources for deaf students.Firstly, based on the consulting and collating of a large number of relevant literatures, this research analyses the current situation of the research on flipped classroom model, deaf students' characteristics and design and application of visual learning resources at home and abroad.Secondly, under the guidance of Constructivism theory,Learning Pyramid theory and Cognitive Load theory, based on the cognitive characteristics of deaf students, this paper puts forward the principles of visual learning resources design for deaf students, and combine with the characteristics of junior high school mathematics knowledge, puts forward the design strategies. Then, according to the design strategy,we design and develop three kinds of visual learning resources of mathematics knowledge, namely "number and algebra","space and graphics","statistics and analysis".Referring to the existing in-class flip mode,we carry out practical teaching and study the effectiveness of resource design.Through the analysis of the results of the comparative experiment,it is found that the learning effect of the experimental group is significantly better than that of the control group in the three lesson experiments. It is considered that the visual learning resource design method proposed in this study is effective for improving the learning effect of deaf students in junior middle schools of special education schools at the district and county levels. Finally, the experimental results are analyzed and discussed, and the design method of visual learning resources for deaf students in junior high school is summarized.
