Ancient poetry as a representative literary works of thousands of years of cultural accumulation,its literary value has always been respected.As one of the most import ant contents of Chinese teaching in junior high school,ancient poetry teaching plays a n active role in inspiring,cultivating morality,cultivating emotion and persuading stu dents to learn.It plays an irreplaceable role in moral and aesthetic education for stude nts,and it is also an important way for students to inlierit traditional Chinese culture.However,with the development of The Times,the appreciation value of ancient poetry is far higher than its practical value.And with the development and popularization of vernacular Chinese,ancient poetry has become more and more abstract and obscure to students.For this reason,the Chinese teachers in junior high school have to mostly st ay in the shallow teaching stage of combing the words and expressions and the genera 1 idea of ancient poetry.In order to avoid the decline and extinction of the cultural trea sures inlierited for thousands of years in our generation,we must pay more attention t o the teaching of ancient poetry.Nong an fifth junior high school(hereinafter referred to as nong an fifth high school)is an ordinary grassroots public middle school in the five counties outside Changchun city.Most of the students come from the suburbs of the county,and the school has limited teaching conditions.This paper USES the questionnaire method to investigate the current teaching situation of the school,and summarizes its efforts and achievements.For example,the school has created a good learning atmosphere for teachers and students,and students have developed good learming habits.But at the same time,it also found some problems that cannot be ignored,such as the lack of special training opportunities of ancient poetry provided by schools for teachers,and the over-reliance of teachers on lecturing in classroom teaching.In view of these problems,the author in the fourth chapter of the paper analyzes the causes of the problems,such as limited by the school teaching conditions,funds or resources are relatively insufficient;In the fifth chapter,some positive Suggestions and Suggestions are put forward.It is hoped that tlirough the author's investigation,analysis and Suggestions,the a ncient poetry teaching in No.5 middle school can be improved:the teaching level is gr adually improved,the teaching effect is getting better and better,and the humanistic q uality can also make great progress.
