Analysis On The Characteristics Of Zhu Yuling,A Chinese Female Table Tennis Player,in The Use Of Techniques And Tactics From 2015 To 2018

This study is to get comprehensive understanding of world elite female table tennis player Zhu Yuling's techniques & tactic developing tendency,characteristics and performance.By studying matches from 2015-2018 in which Zhu competed against players from different associations,employing the method of literature review,video observation,"Three-phases-evaluation",logic analysis and so on,the study tries to find her advantages and disadvantages so as to provide suggestions to her future training and competitions.Through research and analyzing,Zhu Yuling performed quite well during 2015-2016,especially after the turning point of 2016,her performance kept going up during 2017 to 2018;what's more,compared with other players domestically,had better wining results against players from foreign associations.The main conclusions are follows:(1)Overall "three-phases-evaluation" shows that Zhu's scoring rate of "attack after service" and "attack after receive" went down,and that of the using rate went up during 2015-2016;scoring rate of "attack after service" and "attack after receive"went up,and no significant change of using rate during 2015-2016.(2)Zhu mainly used forehand backspin serve at backhand position,coordinated with half court side spin "hook service" to the side corner near net,the placement of services mainly distributed near the net.No significant changes of attacking technique using rate and control technique using rate in "attack after service phase";tactics were mainly attacking short balls of which forehand effectiveness was relative weak,and there was decline trend in the use of control techniques.(3)In attack after receiving phase,receiving mainly for the purpose of control,placement mainly distributed at backhand position;backhand attacks were frequently used after receiving.There was an ascending trend in attack after receiving phase,which was related to Zhu's improvement of attack awareness and change of regular control tactics.(4)During stalemate phase,Zhu's main scoring techniques are backhand consecutive attack,pushing with quick backhand,however,she was weak during the transition of offence and defense.Connecting technique were mainly consecutive strikes with backhand,Zhu's backhand switch to forehand was weak,with dull tactic,lower stability and quality of forehand.(5)During 2015-2018,Zhu's primary technique was backhand,and the points scored and lost were both significantly higher than that of the forehand.(6)In all three phases,attack after service phase had the highest backhand scoring rate.Attack after receive phase higher than that of the attack after service phase,and attack after receiving lack of powerful effectiveness.Zhu's had great ability of stalemate phase,but there were turnovers when she tried to attack consecutively by change ball paths;Zhu frequently adopted techniques & tactics based on consecutive backhand loop diagonally.
