Resiliency,which gains the growing concern from people,has become an important research field of psychology.However,studies about junior high school students in Shanghai are few.In order to explore the relationships among parenting style,resilience and self-efficacy,we selected 497 samples randomly.By using the Chinese vision of EMBU,RSCA and the General Self-Efficacy Scale,the explored the relationships among parenting style,resilience and self-efficacy.The primary findings are as follows:1.The resilience of junior high school students in Shanghai are in the middle level.The difference between the only-child and non-only child is obvious.2.The difference of partial factors of parenting style are significant;the difference of parenting style between father and mother is obvious.3.The self-efficacy of junior high school in Shanghai are above average;there exist significant differences between suburb school and city center school with self-efficacy of junior high school students.4.The resilience and parenting style of junior high school students has significant correlation.The resilience and general self-efficacy of junior high school students has significant correlation.5.Parenting style can significantly predict resilience of junior high school students with high contribution rate.6.The influence of parenting style on resilience follows the framework of resilience in action from West ED.7.Parental style partly affects junior high school students' resilience through general self-efficacy,but the mediating effect rate is low.
