Researchon Volunteer Service Management Of Hunan Province Marathon Events

With the implementation of the Outline of the National Fitness Program,the trumpet of the National Fitness Program has sounded quietly.The road running,represented by marathon,has become a new force in the development of mass sports.Marathon has many diversified social functions besides meeting the growing fitness and spiritual needs of the people.At present,Hunan Province has held eight international marathon ten since 2015,involving Changsha Changde Huaihua and Hengyang.In the ten consecutive marathon events,both participants and volunteers are on the rise year by year.Hunan Province will continue to hold international marathon events in the next five years.In this paper,the managers and volunteers of Changsha Changde Huaihua and Hengyang Marathons in Hunan Province are taken as the research objects,and the methods of questionnaire,literature,field survey and expert interview are used to conduct in-depth research on the research objects.Based on the advanced experience of volunteer management in famous marathon events at home and abroad,this paper analyses and explores the management methods of Hunan marathon volunteers,and draws a conclusion:(1)Most of the volunteers in Hunan marathon events are college students,with higher educational and cultural level and ideological quality,and good knowledge literacy;and the volunteers in Hunan Marathon events are college students.Most of the managers are the students in charge of each college or the staff appointed by the organizing committee;the motivation of Hunan marathon volunteers' participation is mainly to broaden their horizons,gain more practical experience and become a member of the volunteers;the recruitment information of university volunteers in Hunan marathon is mainly from the school of teachers' leadership and student cadres of the League Committee.Promoting recruitment and acquisition;(2)There are some problems in the management of volunteer service in Hunan marathon,such as the lack of volunteer culture,the weak awareness of volunteer service among social groups,the lack of volunteer selection mechanism,the unreasonable structure of volunteers,the imperfect training system,the unscientific integration of resources,the immature incentive mechanism,the lack of stable professional volunteer team and the insufficient resources of volunteers.(3)In improving the service management of volunteers in Hunan marathon events,attention should be paid to improving the comprehensive quality of volunteers and managers;improving the management system of volunteers in marathon events,strengthening the construction of laws and regulations for the management of volunteers in marathon events;formulating a reasonable operation mechanism for the management of volunteers in marathon events;innovating the incentive system for volunteers in marathon events;and implementing the performance of volunteers in marathon events.Effectiveness evaluation management;establish a sound safeguard mechanism;increase publicity efforts to win public recognition.
