With the comprehensive implementation of quality education in China,the PE teaching reform aimed at cultivating students' lifelong PE thoughts has achieved initial results.One hour of campus sports activities every day is gradually implemented in primary and secondary schools.As an important part of school sports work,the current situation of the second class sports activities is gradually getting attention.This paper takes 20 primary schools in yueyang yueyang Lou district as the research object,and adopts the methods of questionnaire survey,literature review,logical analysis,mathematical statistics and interview.Based on the teaching practice of the second physical education class in yueyang building district,this paper studies the current situation of the second physical education class in yueyang building district.The results show that: from the analysis of the current situation,yueyang yueyang building district primary school physical education second class development situation is optimistic,the schools are investigated to carry out the physical education second class;However,the second physical education class was not included in the curriculum,and the weekly frequency was relatively small,which could not provide sufficient time for the development of the second physical education class.Most of the primary schools in yueyang yueyang Lou district do not have the relevant system for the second physical education class and fail to strictly manage the second physical education class.Teachers of the second physical education class pay more attention to the development of the second physical education class in schools.Although most school leaders think it is necessary to carry out the second physical education class,they only take a fancy to it in thought,but do not take measures in action.Students have a positive attitude towards the second class of physical education.Most students like the second class of physical education.Parents hold a relatively positive attitude towards the second physical education class held by the school.93.56% of parents hope their children can participate in the second physical education class.Most students and teachers think that the 20 primary schools surveyed are seriously short of space,equipment and funds.From the analysis of restricting factors,the most important restricting factors for the development of the second physical education class are the cognitive attitudes of parents,students and leaders.Time guarantee;Teacher allocation and so on eight aspects.In view of the current situation of yueyang yueyanglou district,this study puts forward nine development countermeasures,such as improving the cognition,strengthening the leadership,establishing the system,listing thecurriculum,deploying teachers,strengthening the investment,strengthening the evaluation,enriching the content and improving the effect.The results can provide an effective reference for the development of the second physical education classroom in yueyang yueyang building district.
