Technical Characteristics Of Chen Meng An Excellent Female Table Tennis Player In China Analysis

The Chinese women table tennis players have won the gold and the silver medals in three of the consecutive Olympic games and also a gold medal in the world championship since the Beijing Olympic Games and the Rio Olympic Games;China has created a countless brilliant record in table tennis.However,table tennis is also facing shocks and challenges from all countries due to its reform and development.The Chinese table tennis team is now preparing for the Tokyo Olympic Games.The key to maintain a brilliant record lies in scientific training,which the technical and tactical characteristics of the athletes have to be clear.Chen Meng is the absolute main force of table tennis in the 2020 Tokyo Games;the research outcomes of Chen Meng's uses of skills and tactics in the major international competitions during 2017 and 2019 are in this paper.This paper also include her technical and tactical characteristics in the competitions,as well as the advantages and disadvantages of her skills.In addition,this paper provides a certain level of theoretical reference for the scientific preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games and even for dealing with the foreign table tennis players.Moreover,this paper includes video observation,literature collection and data statistics and other methods to analysis Chen Meng's technical and tactical application qualitatively in the major national and international competitions in the last two years.The results are as follows:1.Chen Meng's serving attack consciousness is relatively positive during the competitions,with a relatively high direct scoring rate and utilization rate(57.9% and 3.3%,respectively).In serving techniques,the scoring rate of hook serve is relatively higher which is 10.6%.Also,the second backhand reverse spin serve is the main means of scoring;in the distribution of points of service,when the ball is sent to the backhand short ball of the competitor,the direct score will be relatively low,as the competitor will control the return of the ball,Chen meng's next plate of the attack strategy will be limited.2.Chen Meng is not using the backhand twisting technique in receiving and serving often.However,it is the key technique to restrict receiving and attacking.Therefore,improving the quality of the backhand key pull and increasing its uses will be important to strengthen the reception attack.3.Chen Meng technique shows a relatively high level in a stalemate,her forehand technique is relatively prominent,the use backhand variable linear is more frequent.The training in pressure forehand,sideways as well as slash rhythm changes need to be intense,as the statistics of Chen Meng's techniques and tactics statistics shows her low uses of certain techniques.The advantage of this kind of technique and tactics lies in the diao ground,with large angle and the rhythm is fast,which is advantageous to raise her score ability in the competitions.4.According to the four-stage index evaluation method and the results of the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages,Chen Meng's technical advantage is the forehand continuous attack ability in the stalemate II stage;the forehand attack in the middle of the opponent let her get higher score.However,her backhand holding ability is on average.Her ability in receiving short swing,rub and others are relatively poor.She is not positive with attack after serve therefore she gets lower score.
