Poverty is a worldwide problem.As the largest developing country with the largest population in the world,poverty is also the biggest problem plaguing China's development.The 18 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC)set the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way by 2020.To achieve this goal,poverty must be addressed.For the poor population,higher vocational education is a favorable entry point to solve poverty alleviation methods.In terms of training methods and goals,higher vocational education can fundamentally enable the poor population to achieve "skill poverty alleviation" and "ideological poverty alleviation".Poverty alleviation through higher vocational education is a way of sustainable development and poverty alleviation.Guizhou province is located in the southwest of China's ethnic minority areas,poverty is the most prominent weakness of guizhou province synchronized well-off in an all-round way.There are 50 poverty-stricken counties,14 deeply poverty-stricken counties,20 extremely poor township towns in guizhou province,and there are 2,760 poverty-stricken villages with a poverty incidence rate of more than 20%,with a large range of poor population.This paper selected the five higher vocational colleges and poor areas of guizhou province.10 poor village of field investigation,targeted for school teacher interviews,to understand poverty alleviation and policy of the school,through the questionnaire investigation into poverty in the poor areas,and analyses the deficiencies and problems,finally through to the present vocational colleges in guizhou poverty alleviation work and demand analysis of the education poverty alleviation poverty population study puts forward the path of the ethnic minority areas education poverty alleviation,thus promote and perfect the ethnic minority areas education poverty alleviation work completed,promote the development of regional economy.This paper is mainly divided into the following parts for research and discussion.The first part: introduction,through the research background and research significance,theoretical and practical significance,the research status at home and abroad,and the determination of research contents,methods to summarize the research target,ideas and framework of paper,and at the same time,this paper expounds the concept and definition,make can systematically for the study.The second part: draw out the inevitable trend of higher vocational colleges in minority areas to participate in educational poverty alleviation through the related policies and measures and phased achievements in education poverty alleviation in minority areas:The third part: analyze the relationship between higher vocational colleges and educational poverty alleviation in minority areas,and draw out the development direction of higher vocational colleges in educational poverty alleviation trend in minority areas.The fourth part: carry out questionnaire and interview survey on the selected 5 higher vocational colleges in guizhou province and 10 poverty-stricken areas of ethnic minorities,systematically analyze the data obtained,and summarize the current situation and problems of educational poverty alleviation in ethnic minority areas.The fifth part: put forward corresponding Suggestions and opinions to the problems in the educational poverty alleviation work of higher vocational colleges in minority areas.Therefore,higher vocational colleges in guizhou province can better promote the development of educational poverty alleviation work,and explore a feasible,scientific,sustainable and healthy development path of educational poverty alleviation based on the actual situation of minority areas.Through the investigation and analysis of higher vocational colleges and poverty-stricken areas in guizhou province,this paper argues that the educational poverty alleviation in minority areas should be centered on vocational colleges and explore the sustainable development path of scientific connection with the government,local industries,society and other subjects of poverty alleviation and poverty alleviation.
