Research On The Support Dispute In Rural China Of Families With Many Children

In recent years,there have been increasing cases of disputes concerning maintenance in China.According to the statistical yearbook on disputes in support of the people's court in Henan Province,In 2015,2,450 cases of maintenance disputes were handled.In 2016,2815 case of disputes on maintenance were tried.Family relationship is complex in families with many children,There are more or less contradictions between parents and children,between children and between parents and in-laws.As a result,some children who are willing to provide for the elderly also refuse to support their parents and lead to disputes.From the children's point of view,economic factors,distance problems,unfair distribution of property,and children's reciprocity are the main factors that cause disputes in maintenance.From the perspective of parents,the concept of thinking is backward,and selfish favoritism also leads directly to disputes.The issue of multiple child support disputes has seriously affected the old people's life in the old age,and affected the harmony and stability of rural society.This phenomenon also violates the traditional ethics and morality of our country.This article is based on a literature survey,through questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews form.A detailed investigation was conducted on the phenomenon of disputes over maintenance of multi-child families in rural areas,and analyzes the social and individual reasons of the problem by using social conflict theory and other theories,and in combination with rural realities,it proposes a constructive solution from the perspectives of land system reform,improvement of social security system,and promotion of traditional filial piety,it also puts forward some strategies and suggestions from the aspects of culture,system and family members to solve the problem of the maintenance dispute,hope to providing reference for the decision-making department to solve related problems,and to provide assistance for the harmonious and stable development and social stability of rural families.
