The issue of spiritual comfort is an important issue concerning the happiness of the elderly in their later years.Whether an elderly person living alone can live happily in his later years depends largely on whether his spiritual comfort problem can be solved.Old people living alone often feel lonely because of widowhood,divorce,separation,etc.,without the company of their children and relatives.They lack the support of their children and their loved ones.They lack spiritual support from their children and their families.Their social interaction is simple,their lifestyle is simple,and they are more likely to become self-aware.,unsociable and depressed.This is why they need more spiritual comfort than other older people.Based on this,this paper takes the spiritual comfort of the elderly living in urban communities as the research topic.This paper adopts the group work method to intervene in.The.Spiritual.comfort problem of the elderly.Living.alone in the Y community of Xianyang City.With the theory of activity,social support network theory and Maslow's hierarchy theory,the community grid management information platform is used to obtain elderly people living alone.Relevant information,combined with relevant literature to study the spiritual comfort of the elderly living alone in the Y community.Firstly,through the study of relevant literature and data,this paper finds that the spiritual needs of the elderly living alone can be divided into four aspects:emotional support needs,entertainment and cultural needs,social interaction needs and self-realization needs.Secondly,through the household interviews,the basic information of the elderly living alone in the Y community was collected.The collected information was used to understand the current situation of the spiritual needs of these elderly people living alone,and the needs of the elderly living alone were evaluated.Through evaluation,it is found that most of the elderly living alone in the Y community have low self-identity and low sense of value,lack of social interaction,lack of spiritual support from children and family members,and lack of supporting infrastructure due to the lack of supporting infrastructure for some elderly people living alone.The resulting spiritual and cultural life is generally very monotonous.Thirdly,through the group work involved in the spiritual comfort of the elderly living alone in the Y community,five group activities were carried out for the elderly living alone in the Y community,aiming to help the elderly improve parent-child relationship,strengthen their self-confidence,strengthen their social interaction and establish through group interaction.From the peer support network,bravely face living alone.Finally,this papersummarizes and reflects on the spiritual comfort of the elderly living alone in the urban community.Studies have shown that the spiritual comfort of the elderly living alone in urban communities can be met through group work.In the Y community,group activities were carried out to help the elderly living alone improve the status quo of lack of spiritual support for their children through a series of group interactions,enrich their leisure and entertainment life,expand the social interaction of the elderly living alone,and establish a self-employed old people.Supporting the system,the old self-identity and sense of value were recovered,and the old man re-established confidence in living in a solitary life.Through the application of group work to improve.the spiritual.comfort.of the.elderly.living alone in the Y community,some positive results have been achieved.However,it is necessary to integrate the resources and strength of the elderly to solve the problem of spiritual comfort for the elderly living alone.
