The quality of parent-child communication not only has a significant impact on the transmission of information, but also affects the maintenance and development of parent-child relationship in the family. As a special group in the society, the growth and development of left-behind children have always been concerned and valued by all sectors of society, and the theoretical and practical research on parent-child communication of left-behind children has been relatively comprehensive and rich. However, there is a lack of relevant research on college students with left-behind experience who grow up with left-behind children. The growth and development environment of college students who have stayed behind are different to other group,in the critical period of their growth and development, they lack the common companionship of both parents, and the emotional needs are difficult to be satisfied. This kind of special experience in the growing process has an adverse impact on the mental health level and social communication ability of the group. Most of them are separated from their parents after entering university life. With the proliferation of autonomous ideas, this group gradually realized the importance of parent-child communication, and its demand for establishing a good parent-child relationship became increasingly strong. However, the reality is that this type of family has already formed a deep-rooted way of communication, many communication barriers have become established facts. There is less objective condition for face-to-face communication between college students who have left-hind experience and their parents,at the same time there is a lack of deep communication involving emotional aspect. The phenomenon of withdrawal, avoidance, and disputes arising from the communication process has been neglected and unresolved.Under the guidance of the relevant concepts of Satir family treatment model, thi s study used unstructured interviews and participatory observations to conduct research. In the process of intervention, adhering to the positive and positive concept of Satya treatment model, using family sculpture, iceberg theory, reconstruction and othe r techniques, according to the Satir human identity process model, the client and its family are involved. In the relationship building stage, under the condition of guiding family members to develop trust relationships, collect relevant information such as family rules and communication modes, and analyze the crux of parent-child communication barriers. In the metamorphosis stage, the corresponding technology is used to guide family members to recognize the existence of problems and make corresponding changes. Finally,in the stage of integration and consolidation, the new family rules and communication mode will be practiced and consolidated. In this process, the client and family members will be helped to establish positive interaction within the family.Based on the relevant evaluation,it is concluded that satya family therapy model has a good effect in ablation of the obstacles in the parent-child communication process of left-behind college students and it is beneficial to improve parent-child relationship.
