Acculturation refers to the psychosocial phenomenon in which individuals or groups from different social and cultural backgrounds change the original cultural patterns of one or both sides in the process of contacting each other.Previous studies lack the discussion on the positive psychological ability of acculturation, the implicit level of acculturation and the interpersonal interaction factors in the process of acculturation. This paper discussed the relationship between self-control and acculturation from the perspective of interpersonal interaction. In study 1,a total of 388 minority college students were surveyed by using the acculturation questionnaire,self-control questionnaire and self-control interpersonal interaction questionnaire, and the relationship between self-control,interpersonal interaction self-control and acculturation was discussed. The results showed that individual self-control,interpersonal interaction self-control and acculturation were correlated in some dimensions, but the mediating effect of interpersonal interaction self-control was not significant. In study 2,the influence of self-control on explicit acculturation was studied by using the experimental method and taking 259 han and Tibetan college students as samples. The results show that: in the case of ego depletion, all the subjects showed more preference of choice and memory for Tibetan culture, under the condition of peer priming, all subjects showed more preference for han culture, but no significant preference for memory. In study 3,the influence of self-control on implicit acculturation was studied by using the experimental method with 267 han and Tibetan college students as samples. The results showed that under the condition of ego depletion, all subjects showed more implicit preference to Tibetan culture, and the priming of peer self-control had no significant effect on the implicit acculturation of all subjects. Conclusion: There is a correlation relationship among the individual trait self-control,interpersonal interaction and acculturation. At the level of explicit acculturation,self-control and interpersonal interaction have significant effects, but there is no interaction effect. At the level of implicit acculturation,self-control has significant effect, but interpersonal interaction has no significant effect.
