In recent years,China's education development has entered a new stage,in which the education reform has been fully launched,and all circles have paid more and more attention to the development of students' core literacy.Various disciplines have successively promulgated educational reform policies related to core literacy.China has officially entered a core literacy era.In this context,the "Regular High School Art Curriculum Standard"(hereinafter referred to as the "Course Standard")was released in 2017,which proposed the five core qualities of the art discipline,namely image reading,art performance,aesthetic judgment,creative practice and culture understanding.Among them,image reading is at the top of the five major literacy,from which its foundation and importance can be seen.The curriculum standard clearly points out that it is necessary to help students to obtain art knowledge and useful information through image reading in reality,to connect with the actual life to perform art performance,to form a good aesthetic judgment ability,to develop innovation consciousness and creativity.Cultivating students' image reading ability and appreciative thinking is the new requirement of the “reading picture era” of the everevolving information media.High school art appreciation course is one of the most direct and effective ways to cultivate high school students' aesthetic ability and aesthetic quality.At the same time,high school art teaching is also a high stage in the popularization of art education in China.Based on this,it is more meaningful to effectively and purposefully train students to have “image reading literacy” in all aspects.High school art appreciation materials cover a wide range of areas,through ancient and modern,blending Chinese and foreign.In recent years,the academic circles have paid more and more attention to Chinese traditional culture.The curriculum standard also puts forward the requirement of certain protection education for Chinese traditional culture in the teaching process.The appreciation teaching courses related to Chinese painting have also been gradually explored.However,the results obtained from the practice survey show that the art appreciation teaching in the high school stage does not pay enough attention to Chinese painting,which makes the teaching of Chinese painting difficult to carry out effectively,and the classroom feedback is not good.In Chinese painting,the appreciation teaching of landscape painting is more difficult than the teaching of flowers,birds and characters.Then,under the background of the core literacy of the discipline,how to combine the image reading ability training objectives to better complete the Chinese landscape painting appreciation teaching? In this paper,the following research is carried out for this research problem,and the corresponding solutions are designed.There are four main chapters in the thesis: The first chapter is about the macro environment of high school art education in China and the relevant research and analysis of the current high school art appreciation and landscape painting appreciation course.The author summarizes the information through field research and understands that the current high school art education and landscape appreciation teaching in China has a certain development and improvement compared with previous years,but there are still some problems.In order to grasp the weak points,in this chapter,the author deeply investigates and analyzes the two versions of high school art appreciation materials used by the school and selects two high school landscape painting appreciation teaching examples for indepth study,which provided strong academic support for the research of the thesis.The second chapter is an in-depth study and reflection on the "image reading literacy" in the core literacy of art disciplines.What exactly is "image reading" ? How to cultivate the "image reading ability" into the teaching? Only a clear understanding of the source meaning of "image reading",grasping the inner spirit of "image reading" ability,and extracting certain training principles,can better design the art appreciation course.In the third chapter,with the support of the first two chapters,the author combines image reading with landscape painting appreciation teaching.Based on the characteristics of landscape painting,the author explores how to effectively integrate the cultivation of "image reading" ability into teaching.According to the author's research,two sets of teaching of landscape painting appreciation courses were designed to demonstrate whether the teaching method is feasible.The fourth chapter is the summary and reflection of this article,as well as the impact of the new ideas of image reading literacy education on the teaching of high school landscape painting.It contains a description of the teaching results and a reflection on the high school landscape painting appreciation course,which includes a comprehensive reflection on the problems encountered in practice,as well as the prospects and confidence in the high school art appreciation curriculum and even the entire high school art education.
