The improvement of the quality of table tennis training for middle school students can cultivate more excellent reserve talents for the national table tennis.Although the competitive ability of Chinese table tennis players is world-class at this stage,in recent years,more and more powerful opponents have emerged.The pressure of foreign competition is increasing,and China 's table tennis status has been shaken.The ball is bound to face greater threats and challenges.There are many coaches in China.Their professional abilities and training abilities need to be improved.The training mode is singular,their technical research ability is poor,and their comprehensive training knowledge needs to be further improved.The problem of different coaches' ability has affected the development of table tennis in China.Facing this obstacle,it is urgent to improve the overall ability of the table tennis coach team.By constructing an evaluation system for the coaching ability of table tennis coaches,coaches can clearly understand the advantages and disadvantages of their own coaching ability,so as to improve their pertinence,so as to better conduct coaching work and promote the improvement of sports team performance.In this study,the methods of literature,survey,analytic hierarchy process,and empirical analysis were used to refer to a large amount of literature,draw on valuable literature,and conduct three rounds of questionnaire surveys with experts to determine evaluation indicators and apply analytic hierarchy processes.Method to determine the weight of each indicator to build an evaluation system for the coaching ability of table tennis coaches.Finally,the evaluation system constructed will be empirically evaluated to understand the effectiveness of the evaluation system and the characteristics of the coaching ability of table tennis coaches.Research and analysis,the following results are obtained through conclusion:(1)The evaluation index system for coaches of traditional middle school table tennis sports teams has finally determined 1 target layer,8 middle layers,44 program layers,the target layer is the coaching ability(weight: 1),and the middle layer is the skill ability(weight: 0.108)Teaching ability(weight: 0.153),training ability(weight: 0.311),field command ability(weight: 0.212),management ability(weight: 0.082),scientific research ability(weight: 0.031),innovation ability(weight: 0.042)Ability to cooperate(weight: 0.061).This evaluation system can accurately evaluate the capabilities of traditional middle school table tennis team coaches.(2)Through the practical application of the evaluation index of the coach capacity of the traditional middle school table tennis team,it is found that the evaluation index system can accurately evaluate the ability of the coach of the traditional middle school table tennis team.(3)The problems with the coaching ability of the traditional middle school table tennis team are mainly that: the overall coaching ability is not high,and the abilities of the middle and program levels are different.The relevant indicators that are directly related to the coaching ability of the coach are good,and The ability to belong to the expansion category is poor.Aiming at the problems of the coaches' ability,the coaches' ability should be improved,and the coaching ability,table tennis training law recognition and summarization ability,innovative skills,and table tennis scientific research method application ability should be improved.
