In the new era,great cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics have put forward higher requirements for the political literacy of college students in the new era.General Secretary Xi Jinping visited universities teachers and students many times during inspections in various parts of the country,encouraging college students to learn down-to-earth knowledge and lay a good foundation for their future contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.College students,as a young force in social and political participation,are also the main force in the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The level of their political literacy is directly related to the smooth development of socialist political civilization with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,studying the cultivation of college students' political literacy in the new era is an important issue in the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory courses in Chinese universities.It has certain theoretical and practical significance.Taking the group of college students in the new era as the research object,taking Marx and Engels,Lenin's political thoughts and Chinese Communists'political thoughts as the theoretical basis,and using literature research,questionnaire survey,and inductive research methods to explore the main problems and political problems of college students in the new era.Suggestions.Through the discussion of the related theories and basic concepts of college students' political literacy,based on the investigation of the current status of college students' political literacy in some colleges and universities in Hebei Province,it is found that the current mainstream thinking of college students is showing a positive trend,but some college students have political recognition The phenomenon of insufficient knowledge,insufficient political attitude,insufficient interest in political information,and insufficient active political participation.The reason is that these undesirable phenomena are the interactive effects of various factors,such as the negative impact of the social environment,the theoretical education of political literacy in colleges and universities needs to be optimized,the family political education atmosphere is not strong enough,and the awareness of personal political literacy cultivation is relatively weak.Through the analysis of the reasons for the existing problems,combined with the four important influencing factors of universities,society,families and individuals,we explore methods and ways to improve the political literacy of college students in the new era.The first is to optimize the social environment;the second is to strengthen the political literacy education of colleges and universities;the third is to create a family political literacy education atmosphere;the fourth is to strengthen self-political literacy learning awareness.Under the background of the new era,the political literacy of college students is an indispensable feature of the newcomers of the era,and it is also a direct reflection of the teaching results of the theoretical courses of ideological and political education carried out by colleges and universities.Combining with the new characteristics of the times,through the study of the current status of college students' political literacy,explore ways to solve the problems of college students' political literacy,cultivate and improve the political literacy level of college students,and play the role of the value orientation of political literacy,thereby cultivating the role of national renaissance Newcomers of the times promote the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
