Under the new college entrance examination policy,"3+3" program is adopted.Students in Senior One need to make the first important career decision in their career planning,and the quality of decision is crucial.In the "3+3" program,there are as many as 20 combinations of 3 subjects.For the students lack of practice and experience,how to guide them and how to make regret-free choices in the course selection process has become a big problem.For high school students,choosing subjects is their first major "career decision".How to improve the quality of the decision and make scientific academic career planning is of great significance for their future major choice and career planning.The importance of this work is that colleges and universities,they can select students accurately and improve the efficiency and quality of talent training in China.Through the literature the real situation in practice,we found that individual differences(Career adaptability)and emotional factors are the important factors that affect the decision-making process.Career adaptability research increase gradually in recent years,and career resilience as well as anticipated regret is considered as the important factors that affect individual decision-making process.This study aims to examine the mutual action mechanism in the process of individual decision-making.By understanding the decision-making characteristics of individuals with different career adaptability levels,students can be guided to carry out positive self-understanding and career exploration,and decision-making deviation can be reduced.At the same time,by investigating the mechanism of career adaptability and anticipated regret on decision making process,the school will know how to take subject combination types and related professional,professional development and the future career development into account in a comprehensive inanner prompt students to think about and take the initiative to improve the ability to adapt to changing career environment,and establish more specific and desirable goal,as well as a clear career development direction.Both measurement and experiment are used in this study.The students in SeniorOne were selected as the objects.There are 150 subjects in Experiment One and Experiment Two.Firstly,the career adaptability questionnaire was used to measure the objects' career adaptability level.According to previous studies,this paper used the high-low 27% grouping method to select the experimental subjects.The top 27%with the highest score were selected as the high-career adaptability group,and the bottom 27% with the lowest score were selected as the low-career adaptability group.According to the two priming methods of expected regret,Experiment One was started with the problem method,and Experiment Two was started with the result feedback method,and two separate experiments were designed.The experiment was designed between 2(career adaptability: high and low)×2(expected regret: not started and started)factors.Through the information board technique,the specific impact of career adaptability and expected regret on the academic decision-making process of high school students was investigated.The results showed that:(1)Career adaptability has a significant impact on the academic decision-making process of high school students.Individuals with a high level of career adaptability have longer decision-making time,deeper information exploration,longer average processing time and higher decision satisfaction.(2)Expected regret has a significant impact on the academic decision-making process of high school students.Under the condition of expected regret initiation,high school students' decision-making time is longer,information exploration depth is higher and decision satisfaction is higher.(3)There is an interaction between career adaptability and expected regret on the influence of high school students' academic decision-making process.Under the condition of not initiating expected regret,there is a significant difference in the decision-making process between those with a high level of career adaptability and those with a low level of career adaptability.The problem startup method showed no significant difference in decision satisfaction,all of which were higher,while the result feedback method showed no significant difference in decision time,the depth of information exploration,and the degree of decision satisfaction,all of which were longer,the depth of information exploration,and the degree of decision satisfaction.
